Overview The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon runs 26.2 miles from Dodger Stadium to Avenue of the Stars in Century City, a route its organizers call Stadium to the Stars, and 86 runners had finished all 41 editions by 2026. A free two-day Lifestyle Expo takes over Dodger Stadium on the Friday and Saturday before race day. The McCourt Foundation, a nonprofit working to cure neurological diseases, hosts the race, and it is the final stop of the foundation's Conquer LA Challenge medal series. On site The course crosses Downtown, Echo Park, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Brentwood before the finish on Avenue of the Stars, where a VIP Finish Line Terrace sits beside the finish activations. Cheer zones, branded miles and track boards line the route, and start and finish trusses frame both ends. The 2026 expo carried up to 100 exhibitors and was open to the public. Race day runs elite, wheelchair, para athlete and nonbinary divisions alongside the mass field. Audience The 2026 field came from all 50 states and 63 countries, ran from age 12 to 87, and 41% were running their first marathon. Many runners arrive through the foundation's own programs: 3,472 Los Angeles Unified students ran it with Students Run LA in 2026, and LA Road Runners trains adults through the months before race day. Talent and Influencers Nathan Martin won the 2026 men's race in 2:11:18, the first U.S.-born Black runner to win a big-city marathon since Ted Corbitt in the 1950s and 1960s, per the race. Priscah Cherono of Kenya won the women's race in 2:25:20. Miguel Jimenez Vergara and Hannan Babalola took the wheelchair races, and Cal Calamia won the nonbinary division. Track record The 2026 race was the 41st, and its charity program raised more than $4.5 million across 129 partners that year. The foundation puts the program's lifetime total at more than $76 million, with $6.7 million of it going to neurological research and education. The Council for Responsible Sport awarded the race Evergreen status, its highest level. Brand presence ASICS holds the title. UCLA Health, Kia, Optimum Nutrition and Michelob ULTRA were among the partners listed for 2027. Category partners work the whole route: start and finish truss logos, a branded mile and mile marker, an on-course cheer zone, track boards, expo space at Dodger Stadium and a finish activation on Avenue of the Stars. Hospitality runs through a VIP kickoff reception and the Finish Line Terrace, and a partner's 30-second spots can run on the live broadcast and streams. Category rights can extend to the foundation's LA 5K, Rose Bowl Half Marathon and Santa Monica Classic, and to LA Road Runners training runs.
