About this listing
Overview Candler Park Fall Fest is a free weekend of music, art and food thrown by the neighbors in an east Atlanta park, and the money it raises goes back into the park itself: in the years before 2025 it put almost $150,000 into rebuilding the playground. The Candler Park Neighborhood Organization runs it with volunteers as its annual fundraiser. The park covers 55 acres beside Little Five Points, Lake Claire and Inman Park, on land Coca-Cola magnate Asa Candler gave the city in 1922, with a nine-hole golf course and a public pool. On site The festival takes the park and runs onto the streets of the neighborhood around it. Two stages, Electric and Acoustic, carry rock, blues, jazz, folk and country acts across both days. The 2025 festival was planned around nearly 200 artist booths of ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, photography and illustration, beside about 20 food trucks and vendors. Kidlandia fills with bounce houses, games and performances, and on Sunday morning the 5K and fun run finish at the main stage. The bar belongs to the festival and every drink sold benefits the park; outside alcohol is not allowed, and dogs are barred by city ordinance. A free bike valet sits at the entrance. Audience Street parking is limited, so the festival points people to MARTA, bikes and walking; the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station serves the park. The organizers describe it as a big crowd with high disposable income, and say the new playground draws families from all over metro Atlanta. In the weeks before, residents throw a Fall Ball party and open their houses in the Candler Park historic district for a ticketed Tour of Homes. Track record Neighbors started Fall Fest in 2001 and billed the 2026 edition as its 25th anniversary. The rebuilt playground opened just before the 2024 festival. Out of that year's proceeds the neighborhood organization pledged $45,000 toward a large ADA-accessible gazebo in the park. Brand presence Sponsorship runs at set levels, and the organizers build custom packages on request. A stage sponsor gets its own banner above the stage and three thank-yous from it each day; attraction sponsors take Kidlandia, the food zones or the artist zones. Every sponsor's logo goes on at least five large banners in the park before and during the festival, on flyers, schedules and maps, in email blasts, and in the Candler Park Messenger's thank-you articles, which stay online for months. Booth sponsors bring their own tent and power to a 10-by-10 space. The 5K, the Fall Ball and the Tour of Homes each sell their own sponsorships.
