About this listing
Overview CityLegends is a street-sports app built on a map of spots: skaters, BMX riders, freerunners, parkour athletes and scooter riders pin every rail, ledge and hidden gem, post clips filmed there, and settle it in 1v1 battles, tournaments and monthly challenges with cash on the line. Its season-long Street Comp runs three tournaments per discipline, with two professional athletes judging each one and the top 16 qualifiers going into weekly head-to-head knockouts. The company is based in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and in 2026 it put its network at more than 750,000 athletes in 21-plus countries. On site Most of it happens in the street and on the phone. Athletes film at the spots on the map, upload a clip to qualify, and earn coins they trade in the app shop for brand vouchers or CityLegends merch. Off the app, CityLegends runs pop-up jams and live city-against-city battles. Audience The users are the athletes. They film, post, judge and compete rather than watch, and a brand's content travels through their own Instagram, TikTok and YouTube channels as well as the app. Talent and Influencers In 2026 the company's creator roster named Johnny Ringer in skateboarding, Bob Reese in parkour and Tanner Witt in flipping, among more than 100 creators, and professional athletes sit as judges on every Street Comp tournament. Track record For Etnies, CityLegends ran an online Street Comp across Europe and the U.S. that drew 1,032 competing athletes and reached more than 102 million fans. Vodafone's 5G Battles in the Netherlands put cities against each other with more than 1,000 micro-influencers, for 800 battles, 600-plus pieces of content and 3.2 million views. Pop-up jams for Ohlay in Los Angeles, Chicago, Barcelona and London drew 8,000 people and 7.4 million in reach, and a BERG trampoline challenge pulled 100-plus submissions, 12 million in reach and a new pro athlete. Brand presence Brands come in three ways: a branded league or competition inside the app, live event activations and competitions in the community, and content from the athletes and creators. Brand vouchers sit in the in-app shop where athletes spend their coins. CityLegends checks a brand's fit with street culture before it activates, asks partners to respect the athletes' authenticity, and offers category exclusivity on request.
