Overview DUSK Music Festival is a two-day music, art and food festival in downtown Tucson each November, with its stages on Jácome Plaza and a silent disco inside the historic Pima County Courthouse. National headliners share the bill with Arizona bands and DJs across the Alameda, Presidio and Discovery stages, and the festival is all ages, with children 10 and under free alongside a ticketed adult. The 2026 festival is its 10th. On site Doors open mid-afternoon and the music runs to 11 at night. The Alameda and Presidio stages carry the headliners; the Discovery Stage, tucked into a corner of the grounds, runs more than 20 up-and-coming and local musicians, bands and DJs back to back for people taking a break from the main stages. TucsonARTS fills the plaza and the streets around it with large sculpture, digital art, projection mapping and live painting by Tucson and Southern Arizona artists, working with the University of Arizona's School of Art. TucsonFEASTS is curated by Tucson Foodie, and past vendors include Dante's Fire, Culinary Dropout and Rollies Mexican Patio. A Vendor Village run with Local First Arizona, a 21-and-over Cannabis Garden, a retro arcade and a sports lounge sit off the stages. VIP gets stage-front viewing at both main stages, cabanas for ten overlook the Alameda Stage, and the Platinum lounge sits above it. Entry is on RFID wristbands, the site is cashless and there is no re-entry. Audience The draw runs well past Tucson. Per the festival's 2026 sponsor guide, overnight guests travel in from Phoenix, Flagstaff, El Paso, Albuquerque, Palm Springs, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Sonora, Mexico, and at the 2025 festival 29% of attendees stayed in a hotel, a rental or with friends, 70% of them for two nights or more. The festival pitches its multi-genre, all-ages bill at both a millennial crowd and an older segment that comes for the food and art as much as the music. Talent and Influencers Big Sean and Steve Aoki played in 2017, Dillon Francis and Phantogram in 2018 and Kaskade, Rezz and Two Door Cinema Club in 2019. Diplo, Jimmy Eat World and Porter Robinson topped 2021, GRiZ, Alison Wonderland, Young the Giant and Sofi Tukker 2022, and Seven Lions and 311 2023. The lineup released for the 10th edition in 2026 put BigXthaPlug, Knock2, Fetty Wap, horsegiirL and Phantogram at the top. The Road to DUSK campaign runs battle-of-the-bands and DJ contests in Tucson, Phoenix and Flagstaff, and the winners earn slots on the festival lineup. Track record John Rallis, Page Repp and Pete Turner started DUSK in 2016 at Rillito Park. It moved to Armory Park in 2018, skipped 2020 and came downtown to Jácome Plaza in 2021. Applied Economics has run an economic impact study on every edition, and its count for 2016 through 2024 came to $30.1 million in total local impact. DUSK Charities, the festival's 501(c)(3), had given more than $250,000 to Tucson charities by 2026. Brand presence Activation space runs from a tabletop display to a 1,000-square-foot custom build inside the downtown site plan, and stages, the food and art programs, the VIP and Platinum areas, the Cannabis Garden and the safe-rides-home program are each sold with presenting rights. Because every entry and purchase runs through the RFID wristbands, sponsors can set up scan points on site, and the festival delivers more than 20,000 attendee data records to partners each year. Programs also run before the weekend: drive-to-retail promotions, scavenger hunts, private dispensary events and co-branded merchandise.
