About this listing
Overview FlyQuest is a North American esports organization whose League of Legends team took Gen.G, Korea's top seed, to a deciding fifth game in the quarterfinals of the 2024 World Championship. Beyond League it fields teams in Counter-Strike 2, VALORANT, fighting games, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Marvel Rivals, plus FlyQuest RED, its women's teams, and a roster of creators. The brand is built around nature: the slogan is Making Gaming Better Than We Found It, sustainability is one of five stated values, and the two mascots are Terra, a guardian of nature, and a.PHiD, a friendly robot standing in for the pollinators. Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wesley Edens and Fortress Investment Group founded it in 2017, and the Viola family, owners of the NHL's Florida Panthers, acquired it in 2022. Talent and Influencers FlyQuest signed Dominique "SonicFox" McLean, the fighting-game champion, in December 2025. Nemo, a Woman Grandmaster in chess who also plays League, joined in September 2025, and in 2025 the League team signed the Turkish top laner Gakgos at 17 under Riot's LTA program. The creator roster lists Grim on VALORANT, Basil on League, LS and Gina, all streaming across Twitch and YouTube; Basil has his own merchandise collection in the FlyQuest store. Track record In League, FlyQuest won the 2024 LCS Spring regular season and the 2024 LCS Summer playoffs, beating Team Liquid 3-1 in the final, and went to Worlds as North America's first seed. It won the 2025 LTA Split 2 playoffs over Cloud9, 3-1, and played Riot's international MSI tournament that year. In 2020 it launched TreeQuest with One Tree Planted: a tree for every kill, 100 for every win, and ten for every ocean drake any LCS team took. Brand presence Deals run at two sizes. Tradeify signed an org-wide partnership in January 2026 that covers every team and creator, and the same month Logitech G widened a deal that started with FlyQuest RED to the full competitive roster. Other partners have gone narrower: Von Dutch built a Y2K 'League is Dead' capsule, BRMUD ran a K-beauty collaboration, Theta EdgeCloud powered an esports AI chatbot, and DUEL LAND was a creator-run, charity-driven Magic: The Gathering event. Campaign concepts need FlyQuest's approval, use of its logos, players and creators is cleared case by case, and some categories are limited by publisher and league rules.
