Overview Frankenstein's Mad Scientist Cocktail Lab is a Halloween-season pop-up bar where guests finish their own drink: mad scientists hand over the secret formula and guests add the final ingredients from beakers and test tubes. For the 2026 season Bucket Listers listed it in 11 cities, among them New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Las Vegas and Nashville. A ticket buys a 90-minute reservation, one interactive cocktail or mocktail and the lab's photo sets, and the room is 21 and over. Bucket Listers, founded by Andy Lederman in 2018, says its platform has driven three million tickets sold; it built the Malibu Barbie Cafe with Mattel and the Survivor Cafe with CBS/Paramount, and Ari Emanuel's MARI took a majority stake in February 2026. On site From the street it looks like an ordinary bar. Inside is a lab of potions, elixirs and simmering beakers. Guests take open seating for the 90 minutes, mix the welcome drink with the scientists and can buy more interactive drinks; for an extra charge a mad scientist gives a private tarot reading. In New York in 2026 the lab took over the Rojo Room at Puttery on West 14th Street and scheduled a Monster Mash Halloween party with a costume contest for October 31. Groups of 20 or more book directly with Bucket Listers. Brand presence Beverage partners go on the menu itself: the lab takes alcohol and non-alcoholic brands into the formulas guests mix, under responsible-consumption rules and local law. Bucket Listers' brand division also runs social campaigns, digital marketing and on-site activations, and the listing sells title, presenting and supporting positions.
