About this listing
Overview The Los Angeles Wine and Food Festival is a weekend of all-inclusive walk-around tastings in the Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport, and in 2025 its nights ran as Bite Club, down to the tagline: the first rule of Bite Club is you DO talk about Bite Club. Tickets cover all the food and drink, every event is 21 and over, and the lineup turns over daily: 30-plus chefs a day, more than 90 across the weekend, with art exhibitions and live music around the tasting floor. a21, which has run events from Miami, New York and London since 2006 and whose portfolio includes the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, produces it. Tastemade came on as host in 2025, and the festival benefits Event Zero, a nonprofit working on the events industry's environmental and social footprint. On site In 2025 Friday and Saturday were evening walk-arounds, and Saturday brought an entirely new lineup of chefs from Friday's. VIP tickets bought an hour on the floor before general admission and a lounge pouring from more than ten Napa Valley Vintners wineries. Sunday's Final Bite was an Italian-inspired brunch walk-around, Peroni's Italian Affair. Alongside the public sessions, the a21 Trade Program, presented by Square, brought restaurant and bar operators in to meet more than 150 brands, chefs and restaurants and to walk through Square's point-of-sale systems. Photos from past editions show a DJ booth set up on the floor among the guests. Audience Two crowds share the hangar. Ticket holders graze the whole floor on one all-inclusive ticket, and hospitality operators come in on the trade program to meet the chefs, restaurants and beverage producers pouring that night. Talent and Influencers The 2025 headliners were Stephanie Izard, Michael Symon, Ludo Lefebvre, Brooke Williamson, Antonia Lofaso, Bryan and Michael Voltaggio, Claudette Zepeda, Alvin Cailan, Giorgio Rapicavoli and Gabe Bertaccini. Around them cooked more than 70 local chefs and restaurants, among them Jessica Koslow of Sqirl, Jazz Singsanong of Jitlada, Rose Previte of Maydan, Rashida Holmes of Bridgetown Roti, Nakul and Arjun Mahendro of Badmaash and James Bailey of Majordomo. Brand presence Partners in 2025 were sold in tiers from Diamond down to Bronze, with an exhibitor level below. Peroni was the official beer and put its name on the Sunday brunch, Coca-Cola held the sparkling soft drink category, Square presented the trade program and Icelandic Glacial poured the water. Napa Valley was the official and exclusive wine region of the VIP lounge, and more than 30 wineries poured as exhibitors.
