Overview Cityside Pumpkin Patch turned The Summer Club, a rooftop in Long Island City, Queens, into a working pumpkin patch for the fall, and in 2025 it spread more than 10,000 pumpkins from upstate New York farms across 25,000 square feet of roof. Visitors pick a pumpkin to take home, which most ticket packages include, and stay for fall activities, food and a bar. It opened in 2023 and came back in 2024 and 2025. Tickets are sold through Bucket Listers, the city-experiences media company, and in 2026 the Cityside site listed patches in Philadelphia and Boston as well. On site The 2025 patch ran Thursdays through Sundays from early October to November 2, from 1 p.m. to midnight. Around the pumpkins sit the Smash-o-Lantern Zone, Scarecrow Archery at skeleton targets, a Pool of Pumpkins, carnival games such as Cup Knockdown, face painting, tarot card readings and face-in-hole photo boards. The kitchen serves a full menu, from a Monster Smash Burger to caramel apples and pumpkin zeppole, and the bar pours fall cocktails and hot chocolate. Semi-private cabanas seat up to ten. The roof is a four-flight walk-up, with an elevator on request. Audience Bucket Listers pitches it both as a family outing and as a date spot, and bills it as instagrammable. The hours cover both crowds: children under three get in free, and the bar pours cocktails until the roof closes at midnight. Popular dates sell out.
