About this listing
Overview Ringside Unified Fighting, RUF Nation, is a Phoenix mixed martial arts promotion that fights in the round at the Celebrity Theatre, and Cain Velasquez, Ryan Bader and CB Dolloway all fought on its cards before they reached the UFC and Bellator. Joel Lopez founded it, it has run more than 70 events in over 20 years of Arizona combat sports, and in 2026 it described itself as 100 percent Arizona tribally owned. Cards mix professional and amateur bouts with grappling superfights, sanctioned by the Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission. RUF is one of the promotions on Spectation Sports, a network running more than 60 live events a year. On site The Celebrity Theatre is a theater in the round: the cage sits dead center and the seats rotate around it, so every seat faces the fight. Ticketing runs in three tiers, general admission, VIP and ringside. Some nights carry a theme, like Cinco de Mayo Fight Night in May 2026 and the LEGENDS card that August. A big screen in the room carries the broadcast graphics. Audience In the building the crowd is on top of the cage, with no seat facing away from it. At home the fights stream on Spectation Sports pay-per-view with live stats and free-to-play games, Spectation's cards carry odds on BetMGM in 22 states and Ontario, and full highlights go up on YouTube. Talent and Influencers RUF 66 in February 2026 carried the promotion's first all-female main and co-main event, headlined by Jenna Williams of MMA Lab. Tyrell Fortune, formerly of Bellator and the PFL, won RUF's heavyweight title at RUF 64, and Ezra Elliott took the featherweight belt at RUF 65. Amari Sengsavanh stopped Kurtis Ellis in the first round of the RUF 70 main event. RUF counted Jose Delgado, Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Tommy McMillen and Drakkar Klose among the fighters with RUF roots on the Noche UFC card in Glendale in September 2026. Brand presence Sponsors buy into the fight itself. The cage canvas and corner pads sit in every shot, a fight sponsor gets a PA call-to-action before the bout and a logo on screen, and branded replay transitions run 25 to 35 times a night. Matchup graphics, the clock and commercial rotations run on the stream and on the big screen in the room, and all sponsor graphics carry into the social and YouTube replays.
