Overview Taste of Kennesaw is a free fall Saturday in downtown Kennesaw, Georgia, when more than 30 local restaurants sell tasting portions by the sample and compete against each other for the festival's culinary awards. The Kennesaw Business Association and the City of Kennesaw put it on, and JRM Management Services handles sponsorship. It runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. The Business Association is a Cobb County group that runs more than 50 networking events a year. On site The festival takes over downtown around Main Street, with a stage running live performances through the day. The beer garden has its own live music and shows football on screens. The kids' zone runs inflatables, and in 2023 added a rock wall, slides and a trackless train. The Georgia Grown Member Village sells Georgia-made goods for holiday shopping. Samples ran from $1 to $10 in 2024. Parking spreads across downtown lots, Adams Park and First Baptist Church of Kennesaw. Track record The 2023 edition drew more than 40 eateries, ran two entertainment stages all day and closed with a headliner concert at 6 p.m. Restaurants that year competed in five categories: Best Entree, Best Dessert, Best Appetizer, Best Food Presentation and Best Decorated Tent. In 2024 the festival raised money for five local charities, among them Shop with a Mustang, Shop with a Warrior and KSU Cares. Brand presence Superior Plumbing was the title sponsor in 2025 and 2026. Below the title, presenting sponsors take category exclusivity and put their name on one piece of the day: the culinary competition, the entertainment stage, the food court, the ground acts or the kids' zone. Sponsors at every level get display space on site with the tent, table and chairs supplied, from 10 by 10 up to 10 by 30, and most levels can sample product in portions of up to four ounces. From Silver up, sponsor logos go on 15,000 printed festival flyers.
