About this listing
Overview The Roswell Motoring Festival is a free one-day car show on the grounds of Roswell City Hall, north of Atlanta, where one set of ribbons is judged by a panel of kids aged 6 to 18, who put a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona first in 2025. It runs on the second Saturday of October. Owners apply with photographs to show a car or motorcycle and pay a small charitable donation to exhibit, and the proceeds go to a named charity. Pualani and Philip Carroll run it through their Peach State Drive for Good Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that also produces the Atlanta Motoring Festival and Concours d'Elegance at Lanier Islands. On site The show runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, with cars, motorcycles and boats parked across the City Hall complex off Hill Street and trailer parking nearby. For Sale signs are banned from the main show area. Automotive and art vendors work 10-by-10 booths between the rows, and an Ira Lane Coffee barista, King of Pops and face painting run alongside them, with From The Earth Brewing pouring on site. Live music plays through the day: Ryan Davis and Tom LaDow have performed, and Maria Deirisarri has sung the national anthem. Audience Every registered car carries a placard with its year, make and model, and the People's Choice ribbon comes from visitors' votes, so the people walking the rows are working through the field car by car. Children can sign up for the Youth Judging Program, run with Hagerty and local sanctioned judges, and each child brings a parent or guardian into the Friends of the Festival hospitality area. Exhibitors register ahead, and the festival set its 2026 goal at 150 registered cars. Track record The 2025 ribbons: Best of Show to a 1956 Austin-Healey, People's Choice to a 1954 Bentley R Type saloon, the First Responders Ribbon to a 1969 Camaro Z/28, Best Motorcycle to a 1992 Honda NC30 and Hagerty youth second place to a 1954 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Experimental. The 2025 show benefited the Roswell First Responders Foundation. The organizers also name the VetBuds Foundation as a beneficiary; VetBuds repurposes cars for veterans who need transportation, and by its own count had awarded 59 vehicles and nearly $30,000 in student grants between 2021 and 2026. Brand presence Exhibitors take 10-by-30 spaces in four levels. Premier brings unlimited cars and shuts out other auto dealers; Gold brings six cars, Silver four, and Bronze takes the space alone. One sponsor picks the Sponsor's Ribbon: in 2025 Atlanta Auto Restoration chose a 1954 Packard Caribbean. Hagerty runs the youth judging under its own name, and registered owners go home with a dash plaque and a thank-you bag.
