About this listing
Overview The USA Fencing Creator Showdown is a three-day competition that puts 12 social media creators on the strip against four of the best fencers in the country, staged at the Heineken Riverdeck at The Seaport in Lower Manhattan from September 21 to 23, 2026. The creator field carries more than 215 million combined followers, and USA Fencing projects the event will clear 100 million impressions. On site Three days of made-for-camera formats built to travel. King of the Strip is a single-touch elimination bracket. Battle Royale sets one Olympian against four creators at once. A Hunger Games style free-for-all closes it out on point-based scoring. The Seaport setting puts the strip outdoors on the East River, with every bout captured for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram distribution across each creator's own channels. Audience The creator field is young and platform-native, led by Just Maiko at 49.9 million on TikTok, Merrick Hanna at 32.6 million and JoJo Sim at 20.8 million on YouTube. Behind it sits USA Fencing's member base of 85,000 individuals and 800 clubs, affluent and highly educated households concentrated in finance, technology, medical and engineering professions, and among the most diverse communities in the NCAA. Talent and influencers Team USA is represented by Olympians Lauren Scruggs, Mitchell Saron and Maia Chamberlain alongside Bryce Louie. The announced creator field includes Just Maiko, Merrick Hanna, JoJo Sim, Demi Bagby, Sofie Dossi, Fik Shun, Shayne Boyle, Yeh Slacks, itsPikaaa and Buttery Bros, with two more still to be named. Track record USA Fencing launched its creator program in December 2025 and lifted average monthly impressions 36.9 percent to 4.75 million. Since the 2024 Paris Games the sport has added more than 20,000 new fencing families and over 200 new clubs. The Showdown routes new interest to TryFencing.org for club referrals, on the runway to LA 2028. Brand presence iHeartMedia is presenting sponsor of USA Fencing's Super Junior and Cadet Circuit, and CNBC, Willow and TEGNA carries national broadcast coverage alongside regional affiliates in more than a dozen US markets. The Showdown is staged at the Heineken Riverdeck, a venue naming rights deal that sits with the Seaport rather than with USA Fencing
