About this listing
Overview We Belong Here Central Park is a three-day dance music festival on Wollman Rink, with the DJ playing from a 360 stage in the middle of the dance floor and the Manhattan skyline rising over the trees. It first took the rink in October 2024 with Fisher, Kaskade and Monolink, and came back in 2025. There are no LED walls: the production is decorative lighting built to suit the park. Justin Dauman and Charles Hochfelder started We Belong Here in Miami in 2021 and run it independently, and its 2026-27 calendar also carried New Orleans, Tampa Bay and Miami. On site The stage stands at the center of the rink with the crowd on every side, and the floor is oversized on purpose so there is always room to dance. Free water stations, lounges, lockers and air-conditioned restroom trailers stand in for the usual portable toilets, and private table sections sit on raised platforms for groups. Visual artists, restaurant concepts and vendors take space around the rink; Smorgasburg curated the food in 2025. Audience Guests under 21 get in only with a parent or legal guardian who is 21 or older and holds a ticket. The founders sell fewer tickets than the venue holds, by design, and Hochfelder has said the company does not want an event bigger than about 30,000 people because quality gets harder to control past that. Talent and Influencers Fisher, Kaskade and Monolink headlined the first year at the rink in 2024. Lane 8, Porter Robinson and Nora En Pure topped 2025, over Neil Frances, Sultan + Shepard, Wax Motif, Klingande and VNSSA. The 2026 bill put MEDUZA on Friday after an LP Giobbi sunset set, Ben Böhmer at sunset on Saturday ahead of a live Stephan Bodzin set, and Bob Moses at sunset on Sunday before Steve Angello. Track record Dauman said the majority of tickets for the 2024 edition sold in the first 24 hours. The next October the company added a Brooklyn weekend on the Greenpoint waterfront, the week before the rink, so New York had two We Belong Here festivals in 2025. Ticket money funds music education for K-12 students near each event, and the festival pays for full scholarships at Scratch Academy, the DJ school Jam Master Jay founded. Brand presence A partner holds presenting rights to a stage and designs it with the festival, then runs its own bar or sampling station on the grounds. Product can reach the artists through the green rooms and lounges, and the partnership carries an influencer campaign shot on site.
