About this listing
The Zootown Music Festival is a two-day destination music festival taking place June 19–20, 2026, at the Missoula County Fairgrounds in Missoula, Montana. Produced by Always On, Shore Sound, and The Knitting Factory, Zootown represents the first-ever major music festival in Missoula, transforming a 600,000 square foot fairgrounds into a large-scale live music experience set against Montana’s natural landscape and vibrant cultural scene. The festival features two stages and 20+ bands, delivering a diverse, renowned lineup blending Americana, indie, alternative rock, and emerging eclectic artists. With 40,000 attendees, Zootown combines national touring acts with a community-driven atmosphere that reflects what Missoula is known for: outdoor recreation, a strong university presence, a progressive and eclectic vibe, and a celebrated craft beer and food culture. Zootown is deeply rooted in its location and community, produced in close collaboration with Destination Missoula and the University of Montana’s Entertainment Management Program, one of the longest-standing programs of its kind in the country. Drawing both local and regional travelers, the festival positions Missoula as a new destination on the national music festival map while offering brands meaningful engagement with a highly active, culture-forward audience.
