About Anvara
Anvara is a marketplace for sponsorship. Brands use us to find, book, and measure sponsorships with sports teams, leagues, and live events, with real pricing and audience data shown up front, all in one place.
It’s a $100B+ market that still runs on cold emails, PDFs, and rolodexes. We’re building the software that replaces all of it: discovery, pricing, contracts, payments, and measurement.
We’re seed-funded (led by Roger Ehrenberg / Game Changers), based in NYC, and already moving nearly 8 figures in GMV. Brands like Kalshi, Hyperice, and CELSIUS have transacted with Anvara.
Our Culture
We believe extraordinary outcomes come from an uncompromising bar, and we hold it on everything we do. We’re customer-obsessed, we listen closely, watch how people actually behave, and move fast around what matters. When someone needs us, we show up with 11-star service.
We operate with full ownership. No task is beneath anyone, and we carry things end to end like the outcome is personal. We value originality and thoughtful dissent, because you can’t do ordinary things and expect extraordinary results.
Hard work is about relentlessness and leverage; always finding the sharper path to complete the mission at hand.
Above all, we hire for high agency. If you turn ambiguity into forward motion, you will thrive here.
The Role
Engineers at Anvara build the infrastructure for a market that has never had any. Brands come to Anvara to discover, evaluate, and buy sponsorships across sports and live events. Rightsholders come to list and sell their inventory. Underneath that is search across thousands of properties and assets, a deal engine for proposals, contracts, and payments, and measurement for media that has never been measured well.
This is a small team. You won't be siloed into one corner of the codebase. You'll touch everything - marketplace UX, seller tools, buyer workflows, data pipelines, integrations. You'll work directly with our Head of Engineering and the founders, and your code will ship to real users immediately.
We expect engineers to work hard - on hard problems. We are in-person five days a week at our SoHo office. Remote work on the weekends.
Tech Stack
TypeScript for coding
Next.js / React (full stack, server-side knowledge is important)
Tailwind CSS / ShadCN for UI
Postgres (Neon) / Prisma ORM for DB
Vercel for hosting
Git / GitHub for version control
What You'll Do
Ship features across the full stack - frontend, backend, APIs, data layer
Own features end to end - from data model and technical design through deployment and the metrics that tell us it worked
Build search, matching, personalization, and AI-powered recommendations that connect brands with the right inventory
Model the data behind sponsorship: properties, assets, packages, pricing, and audience data
Build the deal infrastructure: proposals, contracts, payments, and payouts between brands and rightsholders
Help build our measurement product so brands can prove what a sponsorship actually did
Use AI to move faster, both in how you build and in what we ship (LLM-powered listing ingestion, matching, and recommendations)
Work with our designers to turn prototypes into polished production software
Contribute to architecture and technical decisions alongside the founders
Who You Are
Extensive TypeScript and React experience
Nice to haves: Node.js and backend knowledge, Postgres, and data modeling
Product-minded. You care about why you're building something, not just how.
Attention to detail and good UI/UX intuition
You use AI coding tools daily and know how to get real leverage out of them
You've built something on your own - a side project, a startup, an open-source library
High agency - when something isn't working, you figure it out. When there's no playbook, you write one.
New grads and senior SWEs welcome. We have no restrictions around years of experience or pedigree. If you are a smart and ambitious engineer, we encourage you to apply.
Bonus Points
Passionate about sports, live events, or the business of entertainment
