Overview The Foundation for American Innovation champions the technology, talent, and ideas essential to American prosperity, security, and flourishing. Its American Innovation Gala is a black-tie evening honoring the people pushing the technological frontiers of the American experiment, convening leaders from technology, policy, venture capital, and national security. The evening is built around a dinner program anchored by keynote remarks. The gala has run each fall since 2024. On site The evening moves through three phases: an opening reception, a dinner program with keynote remarks, and an afterglow reception. Higher sponsorship tiers add a dedicated VIP reception, preferred, premier, or front-row table placement, and recognition from the emcee during the program. Audience Guests are leaders from technology, policy, venture capital, and national security who come together around a shared commitment to building both new tools and the institutions capable of guiding them. Talent and Influencers Recent keynote speakers include Shyam Sankar, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Palantir Technologies; Jacob Helberg, Under Secretary for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Department of State; and Stephen Winchell, Director of DARPA. Past editions have featured Chris Wright, Brendan Carr, Mike Solana, Scott Kupor, Alexandr Wang, and Nobel laureate John M. Martinis, alongside FAI's own senior fellows and leadership, including Laurent Crenshaw, Emmet Penney, Dean Ball, and Prineha Narang. Track record The gala has run annually since 2024, with each edition organized around a distinct keynote lineup and panel program spanning topics such as American energy dominance, AI and bureaucracy, strategic networks, and the quantum era.
