About this listing

Overview Combat Fighting Championship is a professional MMA promotion based in El Paso, Texas, staging fight nights that pair regional Southwest talent with festival-style production. Founded in 2024 by Air Force veteran Roland Rios and professional fighter Carlos Pacheco, CFC was built to give Borderland fighters a professional platform in a region with no local pro circuit. Its stated long-term goal is to become the Southwest's leading feeder league to the UFC. On site CFC 8: Fright Night runs October 24, 2026 at the El Paso County Coliseum, following the promotion's earlier run at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center. Fight night is produced as a full entertainment event rather than a card alone. The Fight Club Hub houses interactive fan activities and sponsor-driven exhibits, and recent programs have included Grammy Award-winning musical performances, fan giveaways, a U.S. Air Force presentation of the colors and an on-site oath-of-enlistment ceremony. Events are family-friendly and bilingual. Audience Attendance has grown from 1,400 at the debut event to 3,100-plus per show, with recent shows selling out. The crowd draws from both sides of the El Paso-Juárez border, one of the largest Latino markets in the United States, plus travelers from Albuquerque, Arizona, Utah, Chicago, Midland and as far as Toronto. It skews toward working families and younger combat sports fans, and the promotion generates over 8 million digital impressions annually across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. Talent and Influencers Cards feature rising professional and amateur fighters from El Paso, West Texas, New Mexico and northern Mexico, matched by co-founder Carlos Pacheco with a focus on developing UFC-ready talent. Fight nights also carry Grammy Award-winning musical guests and ring personalities. Track record CFC has run seven events since its 2024 debut, growing from 1,400 attendees to consistent sellouts and moving up from Speaking Rock Entertainment Center to the El Paso County Coliseum. The City of El Paso proclaimed February 3 Combat Fighting Championship Community Impact Day in recognition of the promotion's economic and youth-development work, which includes a youth anti-bullying initiative. Returning sponsors include the U.S. Air Force, Bud Light and FirstLight Federal Credit Union as presenting sponsor. Brand presence Sponsorship spans a title sponsor position, presenting sponsorship, and event-level packages covering cage and arena signage, fight-night announcements, activation space in the Fight Club Hub, VIP and ringside hospitality for client and employee entertaining, and social media integration. Logo placement on the official fight jerseys worn by athletes and sold to fans carries brand visibility past fight night.
