Overview Swiss Winter Village is a Swiss Christmas market of more than 100 wooden chalets, and for the 2026-27 holiday season it booked two California sites, the Santa Monica Pier and the South Lawn at Liberty Station in San Diego, its first time in the state. Around thirty of the chalets are food stalls, pouring mulled wine and serving melted raclette, Swiss sweets and street food, and the rest sell crafts, jewelry, decorations and delicacies from selected makers. Swiss Xmas Inc. organizes it with Fever, which runs the site and the ticketing. Its team also built Wienachtsdorf, the chalet village that stood for ten years at Bellevue in Zurich, facing the opera house and the lake, and lists Christmas at Geneva Quay and Noel La Villette among its markets. On site The Santa Monica village was planned for the event deck on the pier, open from 11 a.m. every day until 9 or 10 p.m. depending on the day, and until 1 a.m. on New Year's Eve. The San Diego village on the South Lawn at Liberty Station was scheduled for afternoons on weekdays and full days on weekends, with a visit taking about an hour. The program lists a merry-go-round, a children's corner, storytelling, face painting and craft workshops between the chalets, with concerts, DJ sets and stilt walkers into the evening, and a Santa's chalet for professional portraits by reservation. Both sites are all ages and wheelchair accessible. Brand presence A partner can take its own chalet, from a small pop-up to a full grand-format takeover, or put its name on one of the village's set pieces, such as the raclette chalet, the kids' corner, the artisan chalets or the music stage. Fever runs the ticketing and its app, and its Secret Media Network city guides carry the village's promotion, so a partner can ride inside that campaign as well as on site.
