About this listing
Overview Alianza de Futbol runs a summer tour of Hispanic soccer tournaments and free professional and college tryouts through eight U.S. cities, where young players perform in front of scouts from Liga MX, MLS, USL, U.S. Soccer and the Mexican National Team. Each stop is a weekend: Copita Alianza for youth teams from U7 to U19, Copa Alianza for adult men, ViX Alianza Femenil for adult women, a one-day Alianza 5v5 youth tournament, and the Allstate Sueño Alianza tryouts, whose best players go on to a National Showcase. The 2026 tour ran through Dallas, Los Angeles, Colorado Springs, Chicago, New York, Salinas, Austin and El Paso. Alianza started in 2004, and the 2025 tour was its 21st. On site Stops are played at soccer complexes such as El Paso's Westside Soccer Complex, where the 2026 tour closed. In 2025 Copa Alianza paid local champions $5,000 in six cities and $10,000 in two, ViX Alianza Femenil paid $2,000 in each of its six, and finalists took branded uniforms, medals and a champions' trophy. Tryouts group players by birth year, girls and boys separately, and players who cannot reach a city can try out virtually through the aiScout app. Audience In 2025, 3,988 players from 45 states tried out for Sueño Alianza, and 17,700 players on 885 teams played Copita Alianza. El Paso drew the biggest crowd of the 2025 tour, 43,480 people. Talent and Influencers The 2025 recap pointed to alumni including Santiago Muñoz (Alianza 2017) at Sporting KC, Sal Olivas (2022) at the Philadelphia Union and Amalia López (2021) at Chivas Femenil. More than 30 scouts from MLS and Liga MX clubs worked the first half of the 2026 tour. Track record Attendance across the tour: 218,393 in 2024, 238,750 in 2025. Players: 22,510, then 26,376. Sueño Alianza invitations to the next stage went from 136 to 270 over the same two years. By 2025 Alianza counted more than 300,000 players and families served since 2004. Brand presence Partners put their names on the programs: Allstate on the Sueño Alianza tryouts and ViX on the women's tournament. The 2025 tour's partners also included King's Hawaiian, TUDN, adidas, Chobani and Gatorade, and adidas supplied the finalists' uniforms that year. Sponsors sample and run activations on the tournament grounds.
