Overview Aspen Snow Ball is a black-tie charity gala at the St. Regis Aspen Resort that closes a week of parties, dinners and panels around town, all raising money for less toxic treatments for children with cancer, and the 2026 gala raised $3.9 million. The Children's Oncology Support Fund puts on the week. Film producer Thomas Pierce started the fund, a 501(c)(3), in January 2023, and it pays for research and programs through hospitals and established nonprofits; its site puts the total raised since then above $7 million. On site The week moves across Aspen. In 2026 it opened with the Take Flight welcome party at the Aspen Art Museum, then a Changemakers Live panel, a Night Before Benefactor Dinner at the Caribou Club, the gala itself and an after party at Zig Zag. The 2025 week put a kick-off concert at the Aspen Art Museum, the benefactor dinner at the Snow Lodge and a panel called The Art of Healing at the Wheeler Opera House. The gala has an event program and an auction book, monitors run on both sides of the stage, and banners hang from downtown light posts and along Main Street for the week. Talent and Influencers Chelsea Handler hosted the 2026 gala, with performances by Wilson Phillips and Rumer Willis. The Fray, Natalie Lindley and Mia Moretti played the welcome party that year, and Brooke Burke moderated the panel with Goldie Hawn as her guest. Jay Leno hosted in 2025, and Rachel Zoe co-hosted the 2024 benefactor dinner with Pierce. Track record The first ball ran in 2023, and the fund has taken the format to other cities: a Zodiac Ball at the Houdini Estate in the Hollywood Hills in 2023, a sold-out first Garden Ball at the Dawnridge Estate in Beverly Hills in 2025, and evenings during the Cannes Film Festival. Brand presence Chopard, Farfetch and the Weber Boxer Group presented the first ball in 2023, with Chopard hosting the kick-off party at Aspenx and Farfetch the benefactor dinner. Balmain presented in 2024 and hosted that year's benefactor dinner, and Lugano Diamonds gave the welcome party at the Aspenx Mountain Club. A presenting partner can co-own the benefactor dinner or the kick-off, put its logo alone on the auction book cover and send an executive on stage to present the Philanthropic Impact Award. Brands also gift product to VIPs in their rooms, host in-store shopping events before the gala and receive recap video and photography.
