About this listing
Overview The Baltimore Ten Miler is a June road race out of Druid Hill Park, beside the Maryland Zoo, and it sends its Charity Chasers off dead last: for every runner a Chaser passes, the organizers give money to that Chaser's charity. The course is an out-and-back through north Baltimore to a turnaround at Lake Montebello, on roads the Baltimore Running Festival also uses. Corrigan Sports Enterprises, the Maryland company behind the Running Festival, produces it, and in 2026 it ran as the Kaiser Permanente Baltimore Ten Miler. On site Start is 7 a.m. in waves to thin the crowd, and runners get three hours, an 18-minute-mile pace. There is entertainment at the Lake Montebello turnaround, the far point of the course. At the finish runners are handed cold towels, watermelon and adult beverages, and the after-party runs on the lawn in Druid Hill Park with live entertainment, vendors and activities for families. Parking is in the park. Audience Part of the field arrives as a group: social teams of 25 or more register together and get their own tent at the finish, so they spend the after-party in one place. Corrigan expected runners from 32 states for the 2026 race. Talent and Influencers The Charity Chasers are the race's named runners. In 2022 it was Meaghan Murray, a Baltimore runner and co-founder of Believe in the Run, running for the Signal 13 Foundation, which helps Baltimore Police Department employees through personal emergencies. The 2026 Chasers were Baltimore police officer Gregory Bragg, running for Signal 13, and Ryan Gallagher, running for Athletes Serving Athletes, which brings people with limited mobility into mainstream races. Track record The 2026 race was the 14th. The Charity Chaser donation doubled from a dollar per runner passed in 2022 to two dollars per runner in 2026. Beneficiaries over the years have included the Signal 13 Foundation, the Maryland Zoo, the Mark Ragonese Family Trust and Athletes Serving Athletes. Brand presence Kaiser Permanente took the title in 2026, and its name ran ahead of the race's. Vendors set up on the post-race lawn in Druid Hill Park, where the finish line, the team tents and the after-party sit together.
