About this listing
Overview BeachLife is a three-day music festival on the sand at Seaside Lagoon on the Redondo Beach waterfront, on a bill that has run from Willie Nelson and Brian Wilson to Duran Duran and The Chainsmokers. The site sits 10 miles south of LAX, and tickets run from general admission up to private Captain's suites and boat moorings. Four stages - HighTide, LowTide, RipTide and the SpeakEasy - share about 8 acres with bars, food vendors, a kids area, VIP lounges and cabana suites. The BeachLife team also runs California Surf Club, a year-round restaurant and members club with a gate onto Seaside Lagoon. On site Gates open at 2 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday, and the last set ends by 10:30 p.m. HighTide is the headline stage, upgraded for 2025 with large video screens, and the SpeakEasy is a smaller stage curated by Jim Lindberg. In 2026 executive chef Chase Carlson built the food program with South Bay restaurants. VIP ticket holders eat at the California Surf Club and Captain ticket holders at a separate Captain's Culinary Experience, and in 2026 the grounds also carried a California Craft Brew Tent, an Aperol Garden and a Cove Soda Shoppe. An Industry Sky Deck is kept for artists, executives, partners, athletes and media. Audience GA+, the ticket with unlimited re-entry, is the one BeachLife marks as its most popular, and the festival points people to rideshare and a free bike valet. Children six and under come in free with a ticketed adult. The festival's own profile of its crowd is coast-loving and active, built around food and drink, cause-minded, and often bringing kids. Talent and Influencers Willie Nelson, Brian Wilson, and Bob Weir and Wolf Bros played the first edition in 2019. Jane's Addiction, Counting Crows and Cage the Elephant headlined in 2021, The Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer and Stone Temple Pilots in 2022, Gwen Stefani, The Black Keys and Pixies in 2023, Sting, Incubus and Seal in 2024, and Lenny Kravitz, Sublime and Alanis Morissette in 2025. Duran Duran, The Offspring and James Taylor and His All-Star Band topped the 2026 bill, with The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts below them. Track record Allen Sanford and Rob Lissner started BeachLife in 2019. The 2020 edition was canceled for COVID-19, and 2021 moved to September. The 2026 festival drew more than 40,000 people, the most in its history, and Friday and Saturday sold out. Its Evening by the Sea gala raised more than $150,000 for nonprofits that year, taking the festival's charitable giving past $900,000. Brand presence Partners put their names on the stages. In 2026 Fiji Airways had HighTide, Cove Soda had LowTide, the LA Chargers had RipTide and STōK Cold Brew presented the SpeakEasy, and the free livestream on ions.com ran as presented by Music Gives to St. Jude Kids. The 2025 partner deck added a 15-second spot between sets on the stage screens, logos on the lineup poster and the fence scrim around the site, a branded second-story viewing deck over the HighTide stage, and a co-branded backdrop for artist meet-and-greets.
