Overview Big Feastival is a family food and music festival on Blur bassist Alex James's farm in the Cotswolds, where Fatboy Slim and Lewis Capaldi have played the main stage and Raymond Blanc, Tom Kerridge and Jamie Oliver have cooked. It runs over the August bank holiday weekend, and the 2026 edition was the 15th on the farm. Music runs across the Main Stage, The Exchange, The Outpost and The Barn; food runs through the Big Kitchen, chef workshops, Table Sessions, the Fire Pit and cookery schools; and the children's side fills Little Dudes' Den, a vintage fun fair, a Big Top, live comedy and Adam Henson's Farm Park. IMG runs its partnerships. On site The Smokery brings the American South to the farm: a Sundown Saloon Stage for country music, Feast on the Farm dining, barbecue traders, axe throwing, and hot dog eating contests hosted by DJ BBQ. Its Fire Pit stage has chefs cooking over smoke and flame while people watch from hay bales; the 2025 sessions included Nathan Davies of SY23, Lewis Spencer of HotBox. The Village Green gathers artisan producers, cookery schools for adults and children, Table Sessions and book signings, and closes at 7 p.m. The campsite holds more than 12,000 campers from Thursday night to Monday morning, with a Campsite Hub of street food, a Breakfast Hub of local independent coffee and food stalls, and morning yoga and Pilates. Audience Families are the core. In the festival's audience survey 52% came as a family, 28% with friends and 16% as couples. The crowd balances regulars and newcomers: 41% were first-time visitors and 15% had been more than five times, and in 2025, 57% rated their visit 9 or 10 out of 10. Talent and Influencers Acts who have played include Craig David, Dizzee Rascal, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, Madness, Mark Ronson, Rudimental, Stereophonics and Sugababes. Snow Patrol and Becky Hill headlined in 2024, a Britpop Classical night with the London Concert Orchestra playing Blur, Oasis, Pulp and Supergrass ran in 2025, and Basement Jaxx, The Streets and Bastille headlined 2026. The chef roll runs from Prue Leith, Nadiya Hussain and Monica Galetti to Asma Khan, Pierre Koffmann and Rick and Jack Stein, and Oti Mabuse has led dance classes. Simon Pegg, Josh Widdicombe and James Buckley have been in the crowd. Track record Marks and Spencer's food arm was presenting partner from 2021 to 2024, with a food store in the main arena, an Early Risers Café in the campsite and a bar facing the main stage. Its Little Cooks kitchen for children sold out within 10 minutes of bookings opening in 2023 and hosted 490 children over 17 sessions. The festival reports that 98% of attendees recalled seeing its food brand on site, more than 25,000 samples went out, and in 2024 one in eight attendees bought a Colin the Caterpillar backpack. Brand presence Partners build and run their own spaces, and every design is signed off by the festival. A major partner takes a 15-by-15-meter activation plus a satellite in the Village Green or the Smokery, and feature bars run a branded bar of up to 13 by 13 meters and keep all their bar takings. Gazebos and branded flags are not allowed anywhere on site.
