Overview The Boulder Creek Festival takes over the creek corridor through downtown Boulder, from Ninth to 14th streets, for four free days over Memorial Day weekend, with a bandshell stage, a creekside beer fest and a live painting battle that ends in a public auction. The City of Boulder presents it with Team Player Productions, a Colorado producer that also runs events in Utah and Montana. The 2026 festival was the 37th. On site Three stages carry 30-plus bands across the four days, mostly folk, bluegrass, reggae and indie rock, with the Bandshell as the main stage. More than 200 artisans and local businesses set up in a farmers-market layout, and 30-plus food trucks line the corridor. The Creekside Beer Fest runs Saturday and Sunday as a separately ticketed tasting, with more than 20 breweries in 2025. Street Wise Arts runs an artist village on the Dushanbe Teahouse plaza, where ten selected painters compete on canvas over the weekend and the public bids on the work. Families get their own zone, Creekside for Kids, with performances, games and open play, and in 2026 a skate jam, Bash at the Banks, ran local demonstrations. Talent and Influencers The bill is regional. Steely Dead opened the Friday in both 2025 and 2026, Magic Beans took the Saturday both years, Gasoline Lollipops played the 2026 Sunday and Wash Park Band closed the 2026 Monday. Jeff and Paige played the kids stage in 2025. Brand presence The beer fest is where the local brewers show up: Avery, Upslope and Ratio poured in 2025, and Avery, Bootstrap and Fiction in 2026. The presenting partner gets naming rights, the largest activation space and its logo on signage and bars across the festival, and lower levels scale down to a booth with sampling or a vendor-style presence tied to the festival's nonprofit program. Art Battle bids go to Street Wise Arts.
