Overview The Breckenridge Wine Classic is a three-day wine festival at Beaver Run Resort, at the base of Peak 9 in Breckenridge, Colorado, and its 2026 Grand Tasting poured more than 250 wines, spirits and beers from 12 countries and 47 wine regions. Seated wine dinners and lunches, hikes that end in a pairing lunch and a Friday-night concert run around the tasting. Team Player Productions, a Colorado producer of festivals in Colorado, Utah and Montana, runs it. Its nonprofit partner is the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, founded in 1976, which runs adaptive outdoor programs for people with disabilities and injured veterans. On site The Grand Tasting is an outdoor walk-around at Beaver Run in three-hour sessions, one on Friday afternoon and two on Saturday, with bites from more than ten local restaurants, a live band through each session, a photobooth, wine games, shopping and mocktails. In 2026 the 46 producers pouring included Penfolds, Stags' Leap Wine Cellars, DAOU, Frank Family, JUSTIN and Breckenridge Distillery. The seated side of the 2026 program ran from King of Paso, a JUSTIN wine dinner, and Cabernet Uncorked, a vertical tasting dinner, to a Small Producer Spotlight dinner, and the hikes were called Wines and Wildflowers and Pinks and Peaks. Yonder Mountain String Band played the Friday concert, new in 2026. Audience Team Player Productions describes the crowd as active professionals, wine enthusiasts and travelers from Colorado and across the country. The program is built for people who hike as well as drink, with two lunches served at the end of a guided hike. Track record Five of the nine seated dinners, lunches and hikes on the 2026 program sold out: A Taste of the Rockies, the Italian and French Fusion lunch, Cabernet Uncorked, Pinks and Peaks and Pizza and Pours. Brand presence A presenting partner takes top billing across the festival's branding and signage, the largest footprint in a premium spot, VIP hospitality and category exclusivity where it applies. A Grand Tasting partner names a tasting experience and samples inside it. Below that, a partner can put its name on a single dinner, seminar or tasting, or take shared signage and sampling as a community or regional partner. Beaver Run was the festival's exclusive lodging partner in 2026.
