Overview The Copper State Beer Festival is a one-day craft beverage tasting in Mesa, Arizona, and for 2027 it moves into Sloan Park, the Chicago Cubs' spring training ballpark, with pouring spread across the whole stadium from the concourses to the outfield lawn. More than 100 breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries take part, and a sample is 5 ounces of beer or cider, 1 ounce of wine or half an ounce of spirits. Pai Events produces it, proceeds go to Beer Babes Family, a nonprofit for women in the beer business, and the same team runs a Copper State Whiskey Festival at Sloan Park in November. On site The festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. with entry staggered by ticket: Platinum and Gold at noon, Silver at 1 and Copper at 2, each with its own sample count and a souvenir tasting glass, and a designated-driver ticket that pours nothing. Platinum holders also get the Barrel Room, a set of private suites pouring barrel-aged beer, and premium parking. Around the ballpark run live music and DJs, food trucks, games, live art and photo spots. The 2025 festival carried 110-plus alcohol vendors, 40-plus market vendors and 25-plus food trucks, and the 2026 sponsor plan added a silent disco, a cornhole zone and a People's Choice vote. Audience The festival describes its crowd as a younger, adventurous drinking market that eats and drinks out, pays more for an authentic flavor and treats the beer it drinks as part of its personality. Track record The first festival ran in 2022. The 2024 edition sold out at 5,000, the 2025 edition drew more than 4,000, and the first four years together passed 15,000 attendees, with attendance up 60% from 2022 to 2025. The festival's 2023 Meta campaign counted 3.9 million impressions. Brand presence One headline sponsor takes the festival title as "presented by," the lead position on every piece of marketing, a main-stage banner, a Platinum lounge or exclusive activation, and the People's Choice vote. Below it, single-sponsor positions put a logo on the 5,000-plus souvenir glasses, the water bottles, the wristbands and drink tickets, the koozie lanyards, the silent-disco headphones, the photo wall or the cornhole boards, each with booth space on site. The Beer Babes sponsorship puts a brand in content made by the Beer Babes team, who wear its merchandise and host its giveaways at the festival.
