Overview The Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo is a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo held every year in Stephenville, Texas, run by the nonprofit Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Association. Three performances run the last full weekend of September inside the Priefert Fairgrounds Arena, a newly built outdoor venue, with bull riding, saddle bronc, roping and mutton bustin' on the card. Returning sponsors hold first right of refusal on their package before it goes to anyone new. On site Each rodeo day opens with a morning timed-event slack, then an evening performance under the lights, worked by the rodeo's own clowns, bullfighters, queens and flag riders and called by a rodeo announcer. The closing Saturday adds the Rodeo Heritage Parade through downtown Stephenville ahead of that night's performance. Audience CCPRA builds the rodeo as family programming, pairing the professional card with mutton bustin' and a rodeo queen contest so the whole family can attend together. Talent and Influencers A free concert follows each night's performance: Kevin Fowler on Thursday, Carson Jeffrey on Friday with special guest Parker Ryan, and Wade Forster on Saturday. Track record CCPRA says the rodeo and its surrounding Heritage Days programming bring several thousand visitors into Erath County every year. Brand presence Sponsorship runs across more than thirty tiers, from a Title Sponsor package down to a Rodeo Heritage Partner listing, each pairing arena signage and a program ad with a piece of the rodeo itself: an official truck sponsor, a sound sponsor, chute gate sponsors on the bucking chutes, a beer sponsor and a parade sponsor for the Rodeo Heritage Parade. A thirty-second sponsor commercial plays on a loop before every performance.
