Overview CQ Fest is the Friday-night concert of the Cologuard Classic, Tucson's PGA TOUR Champions stop, and it doubles as the tournament's military appreciation show, with a block of free tickets held for active-duty service members and veterans. Lady A headlined the 2026 edition at Rillito Park Race Track, with Parmalee, Redferrin, Tucson's Leeanne Savage and the Southern Reins Band, who won their slot in a KiiM-FM and Desert Diamond Casino battle of the bands. The Tucson Conquistadores, a nonprofit of Tucson business and professional members, run the concert and the tournament and had raised more than $39 million for local charities by 2026, much of it for youth sports. On site The concert is ticketed on its own, apart from the golf at La Paloma Country Club. Gates open at 3:30 in the afternoon and the music runs from about 4 until 10. It is all ages and general admission on the grounds, where blankets are welcome and outside chairs are not. Premium tickets come as Star Packages and Concert Cabanas. Parking at the park is limited, so the organizers steer people to ride share. Audience The show is built with DM50, a Tucson group that advocates for the airmen of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, and service members and veterans who pre-register get in free up to the set allotment. The rest of the crowd buys general admission or VIP during tournament week, the same week the Cologuard Classic uses to open Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Talent and Influencers The concert has changed shape year to year. In 2024 it ran as a single military appreciation night with Midland and Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, and The Jons and Drew Cooper opening. In 2025 it stretched to two nights: Vanilla Ice, Rob Base and Tone Loc on the Friday, and Koe Wetzel headlining the Saturday. The Conquistadores relaunched it as CQ Fest in 2026 around Lady A. Track record Cologuard, made by Exact Sciences, took the tournament's title in 2018, and the Conquistadores had raised more than $3.9 million from the tournament by 2026. Steven Alker won the Cologuard Classic in 2025 and again in 2026. Brand presence The 2026 concert was presented by Raytheon, VIP Mortgage and Kaiser Garage Doors. In 2024 IBM paid for the free military tickets. The Conquistadores sell the concert alongside the tournament's own inventory, with a presenting position on the VIP experience and category partnerships on the concert itself.
