Overview The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is a five-day boat and yacht show spread across Miami Beach over Presidents' Day weekend, with boats up to 49 feet in a convention hall, a 40,000-gallon demo pool in a park and motor yachts up to 125 feet tied up along Indian Creek off Collins Avenue. The show marked its 85th anniversary in 2026. Its locations that year were the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Progressive Boat Show Experience at Pride Park, the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue, and Superyacht Miami and a new Sailors Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande. The National Marine Manufacturers Association owns it in partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association, and Informa Markets produces it. On site The Convention Center is the hub: hundreds of boats plus engines, electronics, accessories and retail, with fishing seminars, a Conservation Village, a media stage and a beer garden on the floor. Next door, Pride Park is laid out as a boardwalk with the AquaZone pool for in-water demonstrations and the Goslings Bar. The Yacht Collection returned to Indian Creek in 2026 for the first time since 2018, beside the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc. Seminars run from Ask a Captain and Docking De-Stressed to Annapolis School of Seamanship courses and kids' fishing clinics. The Windward VIP Club adds an indoor-outdoor lounge with an open bar, food and early entry. Audience People come to shop. In Informa's attendee research, 43% said they came looking to buy a boat, 42% to see what is new and 26% for ideas and products for a boat they already own. The show attracts international visitors, and Informa points to Miami's proximity to the Caribbean and Latin America. Guests move between the sites by free shuttle, water taxi and a fleet of 30 golf carts that logged about 20,000 rides. Track record The show puts its economic impact on South Florida at $955.6 million a year. Informa's sponsorship deck for the 2026 show credits the marketing campaign with 597 million impressions, including 489 million in public relations reach from more than 150 articles, plus billboards on South Florida highways and ads in three Florida airports. Brand presence Progressive's name is on the Pride Park experience. Beyond title and venue naming, the inventory is built into how people get around and what they drink: branded shuttle buses with video loops on the onboard screens, the golf cart fleet, the show WiFi, the registration lanyards, pouring rights, satellite bars in the SuperYacht Lounge and the Convention Center, and a custom cocktail barge on the water. The Windward VIP Club can carry a presenting sponsor, and companies can host private events aboard the Mansion Yacht or in convention center meeting rooms.
