Overview The Do512 Lounge Sessions are filmed live sets in Do512's own small studio in South Austin, a room that had hosted more than 400 artists by 2026, among them Gary Clark Jr., Billy Strings, Jack Harlow, Black Pumas and Run The Jewels. The SXSW edition packs six to eight bands into one invite-only Sunday of festival week, and every set is shot and edited into a video for Do512's YouTube channel. Do512 is Austin's events guide and calls itself the unofficial guide to SXSW; the Lounge Sessions sit beside its other free SXSW parties, The Smoke Show and The Big One. On site In 2026 the doors opened at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, and the bands played on the hour from 2 to 9. Guests drink from an open bar, which Dulce Vida Tequila poured in 2026, and eat free Home Slice pizza. Vintage sellers set up in the gravel lot outside. Backstage is a green room of couches and a ping pong table for bands, managers and crew. The house rules: 21 and over, no parking, cameras rolling, and No Bozos. Audience Entry is by guest list, won through a contest on Do512's site. About 70% live in Austin, per Do512. Do512 counts several hundred guests through a 200-capacity room over the eight hours, and artists and their teams mix with them between sets. Talent and Influencers The 2026 SXSW session ran Fine Food Market, Sun Room, Susannah Joffe, Packaging, Radium Dolls, Drook, Tropa Magica and Sun Atlas. Earlier Lounge guests include Jack Harlow, who played in March 2017, Shakey Graves, Portugal. The Man, Steve Earle, The Black Angels and Dope Lemon. Brand presence The presenting sponsor's name goes on the event itself, billed as "[Brand] Presents: The Do512 Lounge Sessions," and on a branded neon sign on stage that sits in the frame of every video. The package adds brand integration in each produced session video, boosted on YouTube, a branded giveaway page for guest-list spots with opt-in data shared, a follow-up email to everyone who RSVPed, an RV or Airstream activation space outside and a gifting spot in the green room. Wild Blood coconut water and Dulce Vida Tequila supported the 2026 edition.
