Overview Domino Park is a six-acre public park on the East River in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, built on the site of the former Domino Sugar Refinery. Two Trees Management developed and runs it as a privately owned park, open daily. At its center, Domino Square is a one-acre plaza and amphitheater designed by Field Operations with Studio Cadena, set between One Domino Square and The Refinery at Domino. The square carries free public programming in summer, an ice rink in winter and brand activations and rentals through the year. On site A waterfront walkway runs the length of the park facing the Manhattan skyline and the Williamsburg Bridge, and an elevated walkway stands on 21 columns saved from the old Raw Sugar Warehouse. Along it sit the Flex Field, bocce courts, a dog run, a refinery-themed playground, seating steps and Refinery Plaza. Domino Square has production infrastructure, including trussing and an LED screen, and becomes a 7,000 sq ft skating rink with glass dasher boards in winter. Summer brings Movies in the Square double features on six Tuesday evenings, sunrise and Sunday yoga, salsa nights, a Sunday Greenmarket run by GrowNYC and the free Sugar Sugar! performance series in the amphitheater. Audience Families, runners, dog owners and tourists share the lawns with residents of the surrounding Domino campus, and the park counts around 10,000 visitors a day on peak-season weekends. On movie nights people spread blankets across Domino Square and fill the seating steps, and visitors post from the waterfront under the park's own hashtags. Talent and Influencers Ed Sheeran played a live concert in the park with TikTok, and MTV staged a Video Music Awards block party there. Movies in the Square books DJs for sets between the family screening and the main feature, and the summer calendar brings New York dancers, puppeteers and jazz musicians to the amphitheater. Brand presence Aerie presents the winter rink, SKATE at Domino Park, and Farm Rio presents the Sunday Yoga series, while Other Half Brewing pours at Movies in the Square. The park sells presenting partnerships on its free programming, led by Movies in the Square, plus single-day and multi-day activations and rentals in Domino Square, the Flex Field and Refinery Plaza. The park team produces each activation with the partner, with branding on the Kent Avenue digital signage, the square's LED screen and trussing, and in nearby Two Trees residential buildings.
