Overview The Downtown Food Truck Festival parks more than 60 food trucks on the 30 Crossing Green Space under the Interstate 30 bridge in downtown Little Rock for one free Sunday in September, and the money from the beer and cocktail tents pays for murals downtown. The 2026 edition was its 15th. It started on Main Street, when, in the organizers' words, there wasn't much activity downtown; it spent 2024 on Capitol Avenue and moved in 2025 to the shade of the green space, which the city is planning as a flagship park. The Downtown Little Rock Partnership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working on the downtown's growth, runs it. On site The festival runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The trucks cook everything from barbecue and soul food to Asian street food and African dishes, and in 2025 they shared the ground with more than 40 arts and crafts vendors, live music, live wrestling, a three-on-three basketball tournament, a climbing wall and VR headsets where visitors toured the proposed park and told the planners what they wanted in it. A family zone runs music and activities for kids, buskers play at numbered stations around the grounds, and cooling stations take the edge off a September afternoon. The beer and cocktail tents are cashless. Leashed dogs are allowed, and street parking downtown is free on Sundays. Brand presence Crain Automotive Team presented the 2025 festival, and Rock Town Distillery poured the cocktails. Sponsorships run from a single busker station or cooling station up to a stage partner and a presenting sponsor, and most levels include exhibitor space on the grounds and Truck Bucks, vouchers that the sponsor's people spend at the trucks. The stage partner is credited with taking the generator noise off the festival. Companies can book a Beer Tent Takeover, where their own team works the tent for the afternoon and the proceeds go to public art. The volunteer sponsor puts its logo on the volunteer shirts, and media partners can broadcast live from the festival.
