About this listing
Overview The Lei Day Parade opens Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Las Vegas every May 1, with ancient hula kahiko danced to a storytelling chanter, modern hula auana, Maori haka, Tahitian dance and taiko drumming moving through the streets of Downtown Summerlin. It is free and open to the public, and 2026 was its fifth year. Downtown Summerlin is a mixed-use district of nearly 400 acres at the center of the 22,500-acre Summerlin master planned community, with more than 125 stores and restaurants, the 10,000-capacity Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Triple-A Aviators, and City National Arena, the Vegas Golden Knights' practice facility. On site Pre-parade festivities start at 5:30 p.m. and the parade steps off at 6, on a weekday evening in both 2025 and 2026, and the route runs through the district itself, past its shops and restaurants. Talent and Influencers The parade is danced by Las Vegas's own cultural groups rather than touring acts. The 2026 lineup was Hot Lava Company, Ka Pa Hula O Ke Ola Nani, Pupu Ori Te Nati Hula, Halau Kawahine and Co., the Korabo Taiko Drum Group and The Filipino Club. In 2025 it included Na Hula Hali'a Aloha Cultural Preservation. Brand presence The parade carries a single presenting partner, named in every announcement as "presented by." Fletcher Jones presented the fourth parade in 2025, and Minero General Contractor presented the fifth in 2026. Downtown Summerlin announces the parade through its own press releases and social channels in the weeks before May 1.
