Duke City Marathon is New Mexico's premier and longest-running fitness event, ranked among the Top 25 Marathons in the World and the state's only Boston Marathon qualifier, held each October through downtown Albuquerque. Close to 5,000 runners and walkers compete across seven race options including the Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay, 10K and 5K, while more than 15,000 participants and spectators fill Civic Plaza for race-day festivities and the free Health & Fitness Expo draws over 10,000 visitors on its own.
