About this listing

Overview The Easton Criterium is a pro bike race on a six-turn downtown course in Easton, Pennsylvania, starting on the downtown square and finishing uphill on Northampton Street, with men's and women's pro fields and a full day of amateur, junior and community events around them. The course is closed to traffic for the day. Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health, presented the 2026 race, its sixth. The Greater Easton Development Partnership, the nonprofit behind Easton's Main Street program and its farmers' and public markets, runs it. On site In 2026 the day ran from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Alloy5 Downtown Easton 5K went first, then amateur and novice races, a community ride on the closed course, kids' races and the two pro races in the late afternoon. Around them the program carries a junior race, a wheelie competition, a skateboard contest, a kids' sprint, a 1-mile dash, promotional primes and a jumbotron. VIP zones sit at the start-finish line and along the course, with food from local restaurants. New in 2026 was a block party from 4 to 10 p.m. on the 300 block of Northampton Street by the Easton Public Market, with a skateboarding competition paying more than $1,000 in cash prizes and Philadelphia's Snacktime and New York's Skorts on stage after 7. Audience Racing is free to watch, from the barriers or from the restaurant patios along the course, and there is no gate between the race and the downtown blocks around it. Many take part before the pros race: the 5K, the mile, the kids' sprint and the community ride all put spectators on the course themselves. Talent and Influencers The race report for 2026 describes a field of national champions, Olympians and some of North America's strongest criterium teams. Marlies Mejías García of Twenty28 won the women's race, and Jim Brown of L39ION of Los Angeles took the men's race off Lucas Bourgoyne's wheel in the final meters. In 2024, when it ran on a Saturday as the Easton Twilight Criterium, Coryn Labecki and Bourgoyne won. Brand presence Each sponsor level can put its name on a piece of the day, from a single course turn or the kids' sprint up to the pro races, the start-finish VIP zone, the jumbotron, the official pace car or the block party stage. Mesh and panel banners go on the course barriers, and sponsors also get announcer mentions, jumbotron slides, booth space up to 10 by 20 feet and VIP passes. LVHN presented the race in 2026, Alloy5 put its name on the 5K, and Tito's Handmade Vodka poured at the block party.
