Overview Easton Heritage Day is a free, all-day festival in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania, built around a noon reading of the Declaration of Independence on the downtown square, the spot where Robert Levers read it at noon on July 8, 1776. The city counts that as one of only three places in America where the Declaration was first read aloud. History Row, reenactments and a parade share the day with the farmers' market and a music festival that runs into the night. The Greater Easton Development Partnership, the nonprofit behind Easton's Main Street program, produces it. On site In 2026, the year of America's 250th, the day ran from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Easton Farmers' Market filled the square in the morning, and History Row ran along the 300 block of Northampton Street with museums and heritage groups at booths; in 2025 the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor ran canal-boat rides from the National Canal Museum during the day. At 11:50 a parade stepped off from the 1753 Bachmann Publick House, and the reading followed at noon. The afternoon brought grave-cellar tours at St. John's, the Bach Choir with Unitas Chorale at Trinity Church, and the music festival and block party on South Third Street, which ran until 10. A World Cup quarterfinal watch party ran the same evening. Talent and Influencers The 2026 lineup put Son Little at the top of the South Third Street stage, after The Deslondes, Kassi Valazza and Brittany Ann Tranbaugh, while Rayland Baxter, JD Clayton and Matthew Logan Vasquez played the Lehigh Valley 250 Stage on the square. Brand presence A sponsor can present a named piece of the day: a music stage, History Row, the Heritage Tavern beer garden, the artist hospitality lounge, a VIP zone, the scavenger hunt, the Farmers' Market stage or panels on the trolley. In 2026 the South Third Street stage carried Tito's Handmade Vodka's name and the stage on the square carried Lehigh Valley 250's. Sponsors also get booth space, announcer mentions, press release inclusion, social posts, a logo in an email to 18,000 recipients and VIP passes with parking.
