Overview Elevate Music Project is a Vancouver artist competition supporting emerging B.C. musicians, produced by MRG Live and run across the Biltmore Cabaret and the Vogue Theatre. On site The season runs preliminary rounds at the Biltmore Cabaret across four Thursdays in late November through December, and a semi-final at the Biltmore in early January, before finalists compete at the Vogue Theatre in late January for cash, studio time and a showcase slot at Canadian Music Week. Audience MRG Live's portfolio draws 19-to-39 tastemakers, a younger 14-to-24 social-first crowd, frequent ticketed event-goers, and 21-to-35s focused on nightlife. Track record The 2024 finale offered more than $50,000 in prizes, including $2,500 for first place, plus a flight and a showcase slot at Departure during Canadian Music Week in Toronto, studio time at Echoplant Recording, and coverage in BeatRoute Magazine.
