About this listing
Overview Faces of Fitness is a two-day fitness festival at Durso Park in Chicago's River North: four stages of studio classes on the first day, a concert-style main stage on the second, and in 2026 Simone Biles headlining with the festival's first mental health session. It is 100% sober, and alcohol brands do not partner. David and Lindsay Grass started it in 2022, a portion of ticket sales goes to Urban Initiatives, which runs sports programs for Chicago children in 50 schools, and Celsius presented the 2026 edition. A Miami edition with Dwyane Wade was scheduled for October 2026. On site Day one runs Chicago studio classes side by side - Barry's, Pvolve, Ritual Hot Yoga, Rise Pilates Club, Sweat Sessions, Basecamp Fitness - across total-body, pilates, hot yoga and dance cardio. Day two moves to the big stage for headliner-led sessions, and in 2026 DJ Austin Millz played live inside three of the classes. The Wellness Village had more than 90 brands in 2026, handing out samples and gifts alongside massages, a cold plunge and services from Botox to hair braiding. Tickets are sold by the day or for both days. Audience People come to take the classes, not to watch them: the first day is a class schedule across four stages. Lindsay Grass says the festival was built to welcome everybody, including people who have not worked out in several years and come for a little inspiration. Talent and Influencers Biles, the 11-time Olympic medalist, led a conversation on the mental health side of competition on day two in 2026, and Chicago Bears great Israel Idonije ran a 30-minute NFL workout. The 2026 bill also had Peloton's Jess Sims, yoga with Olivia Santelli and pilates and dance with Aubre Winters. Peloton's Tunde Oyeneyin taught an outdoor session in 2024. For Miami, Wade was billed to lead a Wade County Warm Up, with Sam Feldt playing live. Track record The first edition, in July 2022, was one morning at the Franklin Fine Arts Center in Old Town with Pure Barre, Orangetheory, Barry's and SoulCycle on separate stages, and it sold out; organizers expected 700 to 800 people. About 4,000 came to Durso Park over two days in 2024, and more than 8,500 in 2025. The 2026 Chicago edition sold out and opened a waitlist. Brand presence Partners work inside the classes and the village rather than beside them. Studios bring their own instructors and formats to the stages, and brands in the Wellness Village run sampling, giveaways and hands-on services such as massage and cold plunge. The festival names official partners by the role they play on site, from performance apparel to contrast therapy, and the presenting position went to Celsius in 2026.
