Overview The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival is a free, three-day spring festival in Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, and its 44th edition in April 2026 opened with the Ying Yang Twins on the Friday-night main stage. The weekend mixes nationally known acts with local bands, a midway, food trucks, vendors and a Kid Zone. It is run by the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival Foundation, which became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2026 and runs events downtown across the year: the Dogwood Nights street dances on second Saturdays from August to November, Uncle Carl's BBQ Showdown and the Miss Dogwood Volunteer Pageant. On site The 2026 weekend ran a 90s and early-2000s throwback theme. Around the main stage sat the midway rides, a car show, a wrestling showcase, food trucks, vendor rows and free fitness classes in the park. The Kid Zone was run with United Way of Cumberland County and Fascinate-U Children's Museum, and Sustainable Sandhills held its Earth Day Festival inside the grounds. Sponsor names are read out from the stage between performances. Audience It is a free, local, all-ages crowd: families move between the Kid Zone and the midway, and the festival's 2026 thank-you note was addressed to guests on their first visit or their 44th. The foundation keeps its entry-level sponsorship for Cumberland County businesses that are not chains. Talent and Influencers The Ying Yang Twins played Friday in 2026 and the tribute band Saved By The 90s played Saturday. Local acts earn their spot: each October the foundation runs Battle for the MainStage, where Fayetteville bands compete live for a paid Main Stage set at the next spring festival. Track record The 2026 festival was the 44th. That year the foundation reported saving more than $29,000 in festival costs and moved from 501(c)(4) to 501(c)(3) status. Brand presence The top sponsors can name an anchored attraction, put their logo on the festival posters and the official Dogwood Festival T-shirts, hang their own banners through the park, and take booth space in two locations. The largest sponsors also get their own 10-by-20 VIP tent at the concert for up to 50 guests, with water, snacks, chairs and tables. Every level includes the logo on four festival banners, a linked logo on the sponsor page, a collaboration post on the festival's social accounts and exhibitor space, and part of a commitment can be made in kind.
