Overview Fremont Oktoberfest closes the streets of Seattle's Fremont neighborhood between Phinney Avenue N and 1st Avenue NW for a three-day, 21-and-over beer festival, and the organizers put more than 80 American craft and German beers on tap. Its own tagline is "German inspired. Fremont perfected." The Fremont Chamber of Commerce presents it, Bold Hat Productions produces it, and the Bold Giving Foundation hosts it and takes 100% of the proceeds for its arts, humanities and cultural work. The festival bills itself as Washington's largest fall beer festival. On site Friday runs 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday noon to 11 and Sunday noon to 5, with the entrance at Phinney Avenue N and N 35th Street. A ticket includes a 5-ounce commemorative mini-mug for tastings, and designated drivers get in cheaper without it. The DJ Tower stands in the central tasting garden, and the stein-hoisting contest runs in front of it. The Bavarian Beer Hall Tent holds the costume contest and a couples trivia challenge, and an Alpine Slide hosts the Stein Slide, a race down the slope with a full stein that has to stay full. In 2026 the Bavarian Trio and the Oompah Machine played, and Sunday added a Beer Mile Run and Dogtoberfest, the one day dogs come in, with best-dressed, best-trick and best-tail prizes. Audience The festival tells guests to don their lederhosen, and the Saturday costume contest judges lederhosen and dirndls. Organizers steer people to the bus, cabs and rideshare, with a bike corral at the gate. There is no re-entry on Friday or Saturday. Brand presence The festival sells named pieces of the grounds rather than a generic banner line. The DJ Tower is the hub of the tasting garden and can carry a partner's name, the commemorative mini-mug in every guest's hand is a glassware sponsorship, and a volunteer sponsor's mark goes on recruiting and on the volunteer T-shirts. Dogtoberfest and a presenting position are sold as well. PartyBomb was the featured beverage partner in 2026, and Paulaner, Erdinger, Reuben's Brews and Metier Brewing led the featured pours.
