Overview Great Vegas Festival of Beer is a one-afternoon, 21-and-over craft beer festival in Las Vegas, and in 2026 it poured more than 300 beers from over 60 breweries across 200,000-plus square feet off Fremont Street downtown. The pour list runs past beer into cider, hard seltzer, canned cocktails, spirits, mead and wine. It started in 2011 under Motley Brews, a Las Vegas event series set up as an alternative to Strip tourism. The 2027 edition was booked into the West Lot at AREA15. Brothers Molloy Events, a Wisconsin production company, took over operations in 2023 and ownership with the 2027 edition, and 2% of every ticket sold goes to the Nevada Craft Brewers Association. On site Entry is staggered by ticket: VIP in first, Early Access next with first shot at the limited pours, general admission last. In 2026 the VIP room was the Get Motley VIP Lounge, with bites from Las Vegas chefs, hard-to-find beers and cocktails. Local breweries such as Big Dog's and Mojave pour beside national ones, and food trucks work the grounds; the 2026 lineup included Tacotarian, Fast Eddie's Burgers, Di Sab's Mangia Mobile and Sharp BBQ. Between pours there is live music, a silent disco and Motley Karaoke. The festival runs rain or shine, and guests may bring a sealed water bottle and a pretzel necklace. Audience Motley Brews describes its crowd as loyal locals and discerning tourists who pick its events over the Strip. The series says 55% of its attendees have been to one of its events before, and its 2023 profile counted 65% as regular craft beer buyers. When the pandemic postponed the 2020 festival, 85% of ticket holders chose to 'Stay Motley' and turned their tickets into gift cards instead of refunds. Track record More than 8,400 people came in 2023. The 2026 edition downtown marked 15 years of Motley Brews. Brand presence Palms Casino Resort was named the festival's hotel partner for 2027. Below the title and presenting partners, the VIP lounge, the silent disco and the glassware are each sold as a named position.
