Overview The Hamptons Fine Art Fair is a four-day July art fair on the Southampton Fairgrounds, and in 2025 Forbes named it one of 12 art fairs in the world worth traveling to - one of three in the United States, with the Armory Show and Art Basel Miami. More than 140 galleries and sponsors show work by over 500 emerging, mid-career and blue-chip artists across paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography and art glass, on both the primary and secondary market. Thursday is the VIP opening in two sessions, an afternoon first look benefiting the Southampton Arts Center and an evening preview benefiting the Parrish Art Museum; Friday through Sunday are open to the public. On site The fair fills a 70,000-square-foot pavilion complex on 17 acres off County Road 39, the main road through the Hamptons, with pavilions named for Pollock and de Kooning. The Museum Bar and the Pollock Bar sit inside, and a Sculpture Park sits outdoors; in 2026 it held an original bronze model of the Statue of Liberty from France. In 2026 the themed booths included a Shepard Fairey exhibit, Bert Stern's The Last Sitting photographs of Marilyn Monroe for her centennial, a Trailblazers of Hamptons Abstraction show with Lee Krasner, Grace Hartigan, Perle Fine and Mary Abbott, and six galleries from the United Kingdom. The fair also runs a Sponsors Village and a VIP Lounge. Talent and Influencers Works on the 2026 floor included Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Stuart Davis, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Alex Katz, Robert Rauschenberg, Rashid Johnson and Julian Opie. The 2026 spotlight artists included Julian Lennon, Mel Ramos, Sam Halaby, Henry Orlik and the estate of Bert Stern. The fair's Hamptons Artists Hall of Fame held its fourth induction in the VIP Lounge in 2026, adding Carol Hunt, Giancarlo Impiglia and Roy Nicholson, with a lifetime achievement award to Helen A. Harrison. Brand presence Lead partners take named roles: official beverage, official electric vehicle, the private VIP opening-night party and the furnishing of the VIP Lounge, with gold, silver and bronze tiers below. Sponsors show in the Sponsors Village, and the Hall of Fame induction carries its own sponsor. Each VIP preview session can be hosted by a partner, and the printed show guide sells full- and half-page placements. The fair says it has more than 100 cultural partners.
