Overview Hanukkah at Downtown Summerlin is a free evening menorah lighting that Downtown Summerlin puts on each year with Jewish Nevada, the Las Vegas Jewish federation, and the lit menorah stays up at The Dining Arroyo for all eight nights of the holiday. The evening brings the lighting ceremony, kids' activities, live entertainment and holiday treats; in 2025 it was held from 4 to 6 p.m. on December 21, the last night of Hanukkah. Downtown Summerlin is the shopping, dining and events district of Summerlin, a 22,500-acre master-planned community in Las Vegas, and Howard Hughes sells its sponsorships. On site The menorah stands at The Dining Arroyo; in 2023 the celebration was staged along Park Centre Drive. It falls inside Downtown Summerlin's holiday season, when Rock Rink, an 8,200-square-foot real-ice rink under a 40-foot tree, runs near The Pavilion from mid-November to mid-January, Santa sits in a chalet on the Macy's Promenade and a holiday parade with movie-themed floats and snow runs every Friday and Saturday night. Rock Rink counted more than 36,000 skaters in 2023. Audience Jewish Nevada brings the Las Vegas Jewish community to the lighting and lists it on its own community calendar, and the kids' activities make it a family evening. Admission is free. Brand presence The celebration sells a single presenting sponsorship. It puts the sponsor's name in the event's paid advertising, radio, on-site signage, website and social posts, on the digital pylon signs at Sahara and the 215 and on Summerlin Centre Drive, and on the media board on Festival Plaza Drive, and it allows a branded tent or a vehicle display at the lighting. Downtown Summerlin sells presenting rights the same way across its calendar, from the Saturday farmers market and Rock Rink to the Lunar New Year and Lei Day parades.
