Overview Hollywood Dive is LA Today's film and TV industry pool party, held on the Skybar pool deck at the Mondrian on the Sunset Strip. It is part networking mixer, part summer party: producers, actors and recording artists in swimwear and resort looks, cabanas and cocktails, and a view over Los Angeles. LA Today, the Los Angeles events and culture publication, produces it with Swim Club. On site Guests arrive on a blue carpet for photos and interviews, then spend the afternoon around the pool with DJs, a mermaid in the water, live vocals and close-up magic. A VIP lounge sits beside the cabanas. Sponsors can take the backdrop, the VIP lounge or a cabana, pour poolside, sample product and put their name on the party. LA Today's audience is 57% female, 65% aged 25 to 49, 70% college educated and 80% based in Los Angeles County. Talent and Influencers The cast and crew of the feature film Miles Away came as a group, including director Jackie Quinones and executive producers Luis Guzmán and Andre Royo. Georgia Starnes of NBC's The Voice sang, Magic Castle member Ian Michael Scheller performed magic, Aaron Colbert and friends played DJ sets, and Jerome Spurlin ran interviews. Track record The party is capped at a limited VIP capacity and sold through Fever and LA Today's own channels. LA Today published a full recap with red carpet photos and interviews, and its event content reaches more than two million monthly social views. Brand presence Titan Energy Cookies, Traveling Tarts, Swim Club and Skybar bottle service stocked the VIP lounge. Past LA Today partners also include White Rabbit Energy, Vitaminwater, Yelp and Magic Mind. A title partner puts its name on the party. Every tier includes logo placement on signage, invitations and photo backdrops, an on-stage acknowledgment, a brand activation on site, a VIP table and mentions in LA Today's press releases, reels, posts and post-event editorial.
