Overview Holo Holo is a traveling festival of island and reggae music from Good Vibez Presents, and its name, a phrase meaning to travel, to sail, to move, is the format: it opened at Stanford's Frost Amphitheater in 2022 and books a different bill in each city it lands in. Its 2026 calendar listed Sacramento in September and Avila Beach and Long Beach in October, with San Diego set for July 2027, and The Green was booked on all three 2026 California bills. Good Vibez Presents is the company behind the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey, which it calls the largest reggae-rock festival in the country, and its team has produced shows across the West Coast, Hawaii, Arizona, North Carolina and Mexico for more than 25 years. On site The 2025 San Diego edition ran over two days at Gallagher Square at Petco Park, in view of the Coronado Bridge, and fed the crowd through the Great Island Cook Out: 22 Pacific island food vendors, from Bula Pies Fiji to Hapahoele's Hawaiian Street Tacos and Big Toko BBQ, with the food included in the ticket. The Las Vegas edition in November 2025 ran as an evening show, gates at 5 and music from 6 to 11, on grass and concrete, with cashless bars and no re-entry except for VIP ticket holders, who could come and go all night. Audience The festival plans for children. In San Diego in 2025 children under three got in free, four-to-ten-year-olds had their own child pass and strollers were allowed through the gate, and in Las Vegas children two and under were free. Talent and Influencers In San Diego in 2025 J Boog and The Green led the Saturday with Ekolu, Landon McNamara, Ho'onu'a and Tribal Theory, and Common Kings headed a Sunday that also carried Paula Fuga, Josh Tatofi and Ooklah the Moc. The 2026 bills paired Shaggy and The Green in Sacramento with Hirie, Natural Vibrations and Sudden Rush, and put Steel Pulse on both Avila Beach, with Common Kings, Eli-Mac and Mike Love, and Long Beach, with Ekolu, Siaosi and Western Conference.
