About this listing
Overview IGNITE Fights is a Minnesota combat sports promotion that puts MMA, boxing and Muay Thai on its cards at the Canterbury Park Expo Center in Shakopee, southwest of Minneapolis, and streams every card live on pay-per-view through Spectation Sports. It is the successor to Driller Promotions, a Twin Cities promoter founded in 2009, and calls itself the Midwest's proving ground: it signs regional fighters, builds their records and aims to move them up to national promotions. Spectation Sports runs IGNITE as one of a network of franchise promotions across North America, and its 2026 calendar listed three IGNITE cards at Canterbury, numbered 113 to 115. On site A card runs as one session in the Expo Center hall, building bout by bout to a main event. IGNITE Fights 114, in August 2026, carried 12 bouts of MMA and Muay Thai under a featherweight title fight between McCoy Tekautz and Michael Blockhus, with doors at 1 p.m. and the main card at 1:30. The fights are staged for two audiences at once: matchup graphics, replays and sponsor reads run on the big screen in the hall and on the stream at the same time, and the cage canvas and corner pads sit in shot for both. Audience Past the room, viewers pay for the stream on Spectation's platform, which counts more than 60,000 registered users across its promotions. They watch with live stats - significant strikes, takedowns - running under 20 seconds behind the action, play free prediction games, and in 22 states and Ontario can bet the fights, with Spectation's odds carried on BetMGM. Track record Driller Promotions put on its first amateur MMA event in 2009 and its first professional card in 2012, added professional boxing in 2016 and professional Muay Thai in 2021. New owners reorganized it as IGNITE in 2023. Sherdog's database lists more than 100 events under the Driller and IGNITE names. Brand presence Inventory is sold per event or across a season in three layers. On the broadcast: commercial rotations and announcer reads, a branded replay package on the 25 to 35 replays a card produces, the fight clock, and graphic rotation. In the venue: cage canvas and corner pads, and fight sponsorships that come with a PA announcer call before the bout and the logo on screen. Digital covers branded highlight clips, social posts on Spectation's channels, placement on the live stream page and sponsorship of the free-to-play game.
