Overview Lawntopia is the spring concert UC Davis students put on for themselves, booked and produced by the student-run ASUCD Entertainment Council, and in 2026 it put Dominic Fike on stage in the campus football stadium. The council calls it its largest concert of the year. It marks spring quarter, and the music comes with games, food trucks and giveaways. The Entertainment Council was set up in 1979 as a unit of the Associated Students of UC Davis, a university of nearly 40,000 students. On site The show moves. It played the Memorial Union Quad in 2024 and the University Credit Union Center in 2025, then went outdoors to UC Davis Health Stadium on May 1, 2026, a stadium that opened in 2007 and seats 10,743 for football. Bags must be clear. The council publishes a prohibited-items list and an event map ahead of the day, and students run the production end to end, from the sound engineer to the production and promotions directors and its volunteers. Talent and Influencers Past headliners include Aminé, Duckwrth and Isaiah Rashad, and Don Toliver in 2025. In 2026 Arlo and grentperez opened for Dominic Fike, with two student acts, DJ OlRazzleDazzlee and The Ken Scotts, on the same bill. The same council books the fall and winter shows. Remi Wolf played its free Sunset Fest in fall 2022 and Blxst and Lyn Lapid played it in fall 2023, while Brainfreeze at the Mondavi Center brought Raveena in 2023 and No Vacation in 2024. Track record Sunset Fest 2023 drew 8,000 students to the same stadium. Brand presence Sponsorship has its own seat on the council's board.
