Overview League One Volleyball is a professional women's volleyball league built on top of a national network of youth clubs, and for the 2026-27 season it grew from six teams to ten, with LOVB Los Angeles booked into the Intuit Dome. LOVB runs three parts under one name: the pro league, the youth clubs it calls the largest community of clubs in the country, and the LOVB Foundation, which pays for access to the sport. The ten teams split into two conferences: Atlanta, Madison, Miami, Minnesota and Nebraska in the East, and Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, Salt Lake and San Francisco in the West. Matchday The pro season is a winter one. The original six teams played the 2026 season in college and civic arenas of 5,000 to 9,500 seats, among them the H-E-B Center in Austin, the Berry Center in Houston, Baxter Arena in Omaha and McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. The 2026-27 schedule added the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Maturi Pavilion in Minnesota and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, and it was set to open on December 16, 2026 in San Antonio, Austin against Nebraska. In February 2025 and again in 2026 the whole league took a neutral floor in Kansas City for the LOVB Classic. Talent and Influencers LOVB rosters have included Olympic gold medalists and NCAA champions. Jordan Larson led the group that bought LOVB Nebraska in August 2025, and the Brazilian coach José Roberto Guimarães was hired to coach Los Angeles for the 2026-27 season. The investor list reaches past volleyball: Billie Jean King and Kevin Durant led the 2022 funding round, Lindsey Vonn, Jayson Tatum and Candace Parker came in on the 2023 round, and David Blitzer, Peter Holt and Amy Griffin bought LOVB Austin in June 2025. Track record Katlyn Gao, Peter Hirschmann and Olympian Kevin Wong started LOVB in 2020 as a club network, and unveiled the pro league in October 2021. LOVB Austin won both of the first two titles, in Louisville in 2025 and against Salt Lake in Long Beach in 2026. Broadcast grew with it. In 2025 ESPN carried 10 matches with 18 more on ESPN+, beside 16 each on Women's Sports Network and DAZN; in 2026 ESPN took 28, USA Network had Wednesday nights, the playoffs and the championship, and Victory+ carried 22. Brand presence Adidas began supplying the uniforms in 2024, the same year Spanx made LOVB its first sports partnership. CVS, Sports Imports, Yeti, Hyperice and Dagne Dover were listed as official partners on the league's site in 2026. Because the clubs, the pro teams and the foundation sit under one organization, a partnership can run from youth tournaments and Volley in the Park events up to in-arena signage and the pro jersey.
