About this listing

Overview Major League Table Tennis is the first professional table tennis league in the United States, and every match ends in the Golden Game: five players from each side rotate every four points in a race to 21, with the Golden Game worth six of the match's 21 team points. Men and women play on the same team. For Season 4 in 2026-27 the league fielded ten city teams in East and West divisions, from the Princeton Revolution and New York Slice to the Portland Paddlers and Los Angeles Spinners. Software entrepreneur Flint Lane founded the league, which opened its first season in Daytona Beach on September 15, 2023. CBS Sports Network began airing matches nationally in Season 2, and matches also stream on TableTennis.TV. Matchday A match runs in a fixed order: men's singles, women's singles, Open Serve Doubles, then two more singles. Each matchup is three games to 11, each game is worth a team point, and at 10-10 the next point wins. In Open Serve Doubles the server can serve from anywhere on their side to anywhere on the other. The team ahead after those five matchups takes a head start of up to five points into the Golden Game. Weekends move between convention centers, university arenas and table tennis clubs, among them the Oregon Convention Center, Gas South Convention Center outside Atlanta, the Terasaki Budokan in Los Angeles and Table Tennis America in Fremont. Audience The league also builds for people who play: it created SPINDEX, a rating from 0 to 3,000 for anyone from a basement player up, and its Club Partner Program works with more than 200 table tennis clubs, several of which host match weekends. The league says awareness of the sport runs highest in cities and college towns. Talent and Influencers Enzo Angles was the league's first-ever draft pick, Season 1 men's MVP and a Season 2 champion. Liam Pitchford, a four-time British Olympian, went first overall in 2024, and Koki Niwa, the Japanese Olympic medalist, second overall in 2025. The league has also signed six-time U.S. champion Lily Zhang and 2024 U.S. Olympian Amy Wang. Fourteen MLTT players competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and players from 45 countries applied to the 2025 draft, which signed 34. Manu Ginobili bought a stake in the Florida Crocs, and Dimitrij Ovtcharov came in as a co-owner of the Princeton Revolution. Steve Aoki, Drew Scott and Judah Friedlander turned up during Season 2. Track record Texas Smash won the first MLTT Cup, the Carolina Gold Rush won Season 2, and the Portland Paddlers beat Carolina 21-18 in a Golden Game to win Season 3 in April 2026. Season 2 grew ticket sales 125 percent and social video views 281 percent, past 5 million, and the league signed its CBS Sports Network deal. The 2025 Championship Weekend was covered by CNN, Getty Images and the Philadelphia NBC, ABC and CBS affiliates. Brand presence Each franchise sells a jersey partner, whose mark rides on the kit on television and on the replica shirts fans wear home. Barrier signage runs around the court, with the primary boards in frame for the main camera and secondary boards picked up on alternate angles and replays, and one position sits on the playing surface itself. On the CBS Sports Network broadcasts a brand can buy 30-second spots and billboards or present the Player Profile feature, and on TableTennis.TV the app's splash screen and push alerts. Finally, First Advantage and Vivenu signed on as league partners during Season 2, and Paddle Palace presented the semifinals.
