About this listing
Overview MOB Music Fest is a free three-day music festival in Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile, Alabama, with a bill that runs from bluegrass, country and brass band to gospel, soul, funk and hip-hop, and more than 40 live performances across a July weekend. The Mobile nonprofit Opportunity 4 Entertainers and Performing Arts produces it, and keeps it free on purpose, so that cost never decides who gets in. The organization works on performing-arts education, mental health awareness and young talent, and it won the Grind Awards' Non-Profit of the Year in 2022. On site The Main Stage sits in Cathedral Square on Conti Street, with a kids zone, vendors, food trucks and free health screenings around it. A few blocks away the MOB Experience takes over The Temple on St. Francis Street, with artist sets, podcast interviews, DJs, a bar and a 360 photo booth, and it runs until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 p.m. on Sunday. In 2026 the square opened at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Brand presence Partners buy in at five levels, from Bronze up to an exclusive presenting partner whose name goes on the festival as MOB Music Festival presented by. Every level includes a booth for all three days. From Silver up, a partner gets a representative on stage to speak to the crowd, once at Silver, twice at Platinum and daily for the presenter, plus VIP passes and the VIP lounge, and the top levels put the logo on the festival T-shirt.
